Join the team behind Soap Opera - Kendal Calling's luxury showers and pamper lounge experience, offering hot showers, mirrors, hairdryers, and a bit of sanctuary in the fields. You’ll help guests feel fresh and fabulous all weekend long!
🧼 What the role involves:
Setting up the Soap Opera & Pamper Lounge area (Thursday AM)
Scanning tickets & issuing wristbands
Managing customer flow & queue control (especially in busy mornings)
Handling on-site sales via EPOS for walk-up customers
Liaising with the cleaning crew & shower/toilet engineers when needed
Keeping the space calm, clean, and welcoming
🫧 Who we’re looking for:
Friendly, approachable people with a calm and confident manner
Proactive and able to work under pressure during peak times
Comfortable managing queues and speaking to customers
Happy to muck in during setup and tidy-down shifts
🕒 Shifts:
Thursday: AM Set up | PM Operational
Friday–Sunday: Morning or evening shifts [see the show off shift!]
Shifts start 30 minutes before opening and finish 60 minutes after closing to allow for setup/pack down.
🚗 Travel/Accommodation: Staff camping & parking provided. You must be able to get yourself to/from the site yourself - no travel expenses or arrangements.
🍴 Food: You'll get 1 meal per shift worked - please bring enough food to feed yourself off shift.
