Festivall Staff is part of The Occasionall Group, and we connect friendly, reliable people with paid event work across the UK – from music festivals and light trails to sports events and family attractions.
It’s for you if you:
Want flexible, casual work that fits around life
Enjoy chatting to people and being part of a team
Like the idea of being right in the middle of the action, not just watching from the sidelines
No events experience? That’s fine. If you bring the right attitude, we’ll help with the rest.
-
Absolutely. Festivall is a brilliant match for event management and related students (or anyone looking to build a career in events).
Working with us can help you:
Build real, on-site experience across festivals, light trails, sports events and more
See how events actually run – operations, customer journey, staffing, briefings, safety, client expectations
Strengthen your CV with well-known events and a reputable agency
Progress over time – many of our On-Site Leads and office team started as event staff and worked their way up
Because work is flexible and shift-based, it fits around:
Uni timetables
Assignments and exams
Placements or part-time jobs
If you’re studying events, tourism, hospitality, or anything people/operations related, Festivall gives you the kind of experience that helps your degree make sense in the real world.

We built Festivall around one simple idea: if we look after our staff properly, everything else follows.
Here’s what that looks like in real life:
Rates that respect your time We’re an accredited Real Living Wage Employer and pay above the legal minimum. All pay rates are clearly shown in FestivApp before you apply, so you always know what you’ll earn.
Welfare that’s built into the job For every 3 hours you work, you accrue 15 minutes of break time as standard. We also have Mental Health First Aiders in our full-time team, and clear processes for reporting concerns, getting support, and staying safe on site.
Flexible work that fits around life (and study) Choose the events and shifts that work for you – from one-off weekends to full seasons. It’s ideal alongside other work, caring responsibilities, or an event management degree.
Experience that actually develops you You’ll get exposure to a wide range of events – festivals, light trails, sporting fixtures, heritage sites and more. We also offer training resources, clear progression routes, and opportunities to step up into On-Site Lead roles once you’re ready.
A team you’ll actually enjoy working with We care about who we bring in. We look for friendly, reliable people, the kind you genuinely don’t mind sharing a 10-hour shift or a muddy field with. Many staff come for one event and stay for seasons because of the people they meet.
If you’re looking for flexible paid work, real support, and experience that looks good on a CV (especially for event management students and future event pros), Festivall is a great place to start.

To become a member of our team, you’ll need to do two things:
Sign up to our newsletter – so you’re first to hear about new events and shifts.
Download FestivApp – this is where you create your profile, browse our Job Board and apply for roles.
When we have spaces on an event, we’ll invite selected applicants to a short online interview (via Google Meet). If you’re successful and your right to work checks are complete, we’ll approve your Festivall account and start booking you onto jobs.
You only need to interview once – for your first successful event, not every time you apply.available, one of the Festivall office team will be in touch with an interview offer. If successful, your Festivall account will be approved and you will be booked onto the job. You will only have to interview for the first job that you are successful for.

We’re currently seeing some emails sent through FestivApp/our newsletter platform being directed to spam/junk folders in Outlook, Hotmail and Yahoo.
While we work on a long‑term fix, please:
Check your junk/spam folder for emails from us
Move them to your inbox
Add our email addresses to your contacts/safe senders list
This will help make sure you receive shift offers, event info and important updates.

In most cases, you’ll need to be 18 or over to work with us. This is because event work can sometimes involve lone working, and staff welfare is a top priority for us.
There are occasional exceptions at some of our festive shows, where under‑18s can work closely with a parent/guardian or nominated responsible adult. This is decided case‑by‑case for each event.
If you’re under 18 and keen to work with us in the future, you’re very welcome to:
Keep an eye on our updates
Come back and apply as soon as you turn 18

Once your Festivall Staff account has been setup on FestivApp, you’ll be able to see all current roles on the Job Board.
There you’ll find a mix of festivals, light trails, seasonal events and more, with roles such as:
Customer service and admissions
Bar and hospitality
Stewarding and crowd support
Event operations and more
Before your account is accepted, we’ll invite you to a Google Meet interview on an event‑by‑event basis. Pending a successful interview and right to work checks, your profile will be authorised and you’ll be able to start being booked for work.
